VISCERAL BLEEDING Change Album Title

January 19, 2004

Swedish death metallers VISCERAL BLEEDING have changed the projected title of their forthcoming sophomore album to "Transcend Into Ferocity" from the previously announced "As Fury Unfolds". The artwork for the upcoming album will be done by Shelly Noir and "it's absolutely sick," the band write on their web site. "It perfectly illustrates the content of the album, extreme, furious and chaotic."

As previously reported, "Transcend Into Ferocity" is tentatively due in March through Retribute Records. The follow-up to 2002's "Remnants of Deprivation" was recorded at Flatpig studios (web site) in Malmö with producer Robert Ahrling (ORIGINBLOOD, SPAWN OF POSSESSION). Among the tracks set to appear on the CD are "Fed to the Dogs", "Merely Parts Remain", "Fire Took His Face" and "Clenched Fist Obedience".

VISCERAL BLEEDING are scheduled to play a record-release show at Cronon in Gothenburg, Sweden on April 30. Also set to appear are STABWOUND, who are about to release their debut album, "Human Boundaries", through Brutal Bands.
